Thrivera Fit revolves around a state-of-the-art wellness center specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of aging adults. With a focus on comfort, safety, and effectiveness, Thrivera Fit offers a comprehensive range of amenities and programs to help older adults maintain and improve their health and fitness.

Fitness Classes

Foundation Classes

Our Foundation group fitness classes are the core of what we do! These classes have multiple components including cardiovascular endurance, strength, flexibility and balance work. In our classes we focus on form, appropriate intensity and perform exercises that will help you continue to thrive in your day-to-day life.

  • This high intensity 30-minute class will get your heart rate up! A class designed to develop endurance, muscular strength and stability using a variety of equipment and functional movements to challenge every major muscle. This class is for advanced exercisers and participants must be able to get on/off the floor independently. 

  • What should we know about the services you provide? Better descriptions result in more sales.A 40-minute class with a mix of seated and standing exercise, this class is great for beginner and intermediate exercisers looking to build strength and improve overall functional fitness while working major muscle groups. Participants in this class will use a variety of fitness equipment while engaging in a total body workout with the assistance of a chair!

  • What should we know about the services you provide? Better descriptions result in more sales.This 30-minute class features a variety of balance exercises to increase stability as well as a generous amount of stretching to maintain or improve flexibility. All exercise levels are welcome to join!

  • This class will combine endurance and strength training without the impact or stress on the body. Throughout this 45-minute class we will use a variety of equipment and the resistance of the water while getting a great workout in the water!

Foundation+ Classes

Foundation+ classes are specialty classes that help supplement our foundation classes and are often geared towards unique interests. We are fortunate to have great contract instructors that have been trained in these specific areas.

  • This is a low-impact workout that combines Pilates, barre, and resistance exercises to help you build strength, flexibility, and muscle definition. We will use props like bender balls and resistance bands.  This class can also help improve your posture, cardiovascular strength, and burn calories.

  • Experience Tai Chi as we harness the chi (energy) together in this mind-body fitness class, focusing on breathing and weight shifts while we work on our mindfulness, balance, flexibility, cardiovascular health and muscle strength. This class is great for all fitness levels.

  • A 45-minute class where movements coordinate with breath to flow from one pose to another. Postures are practiced to increase balance while strengthening and lengthening muscles in the body. Prior yoga experience is not necessary, however participants must be able to transition from floor to standing movements.

  • A gentle, 45-minute class in the pool designed to improve range of motion, flexibility, strength and endurance. This class is low impact and great for those with arthritis, but all are welcome to join.
